When you first arrive at your appointment, we will discuss your desired outcome and the thickness you're looking for. Number of Sessions
You will need a color boost session 6 weeks after your initial appointment.
Maintenance
Color boosts are recommended every 3-5 years.
Styles
A lash line enhancement is where the pigment is placed within the lash line to accentuate your lashes without being overly bold. The size of your liner is largely dictated by the number of rows of lashes that you currently have, which we will discuss at your appointment! You cannot have false lashes on during the appointment or at the touch up.
Is it painful?
It isn’t necessarily the most comfortable to say the least. While you will be numbed during the appointment, the eye is a very sensitive area.
Preparing For Your Appointment
- NO eyelash extensions
- NO contacts during your appointment or 24 hours after
- Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before
- NO caffeine the day of your appointment
- 72 hours prior to your appointment, no blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, Niacin, Asprin, or Vitamin E (unless medically necessary)
- Discontinue retinol use for 2 weeks before appointment.
Aftercare
- Blot the area as directed and apply a thin layer of ointment that was provided every morning and night for 10 days.
For The Next 14 Days / Until Healed
- No scratching or picking the area.
- No moisture exposure. This includes swimming, intense exercise that would cause sweating, saunas, steam rooms, keep your face out of the water while showering, etc.
- Avoid sun exposure, if you will be outside, please wear a hat. No product on the treatment area except for the ointment that was provided.
- Keep the area as clean as possible
Be prepared for the area to be swollen. The swelling should subside within 24-48 hours.
